George Economides, Vice-Chairman of Totalserve and partner at E & G Economides LLC, participated as a speaker and panellist at the 10th Best Legal Conference on October 10, 2024 which took place in Limassol, Cyprus. The annual conference is organised in Limassol since 2014, bringing together partners from local and international legal firms, corporate lawyers, founders and managers of international companies based in Cyprus, and C-level executives.

For its 10th anniversary, the content of panel discussions would be recommended by event's delegates and without a specific agenda.

In the discussion, George Economides emphasized the rapid changes occurring in the industry, driven by ongoing regulatory updates and unpredictable global economic and political factors. He also pointed out that employee retention is a major challenge, stressing the need for companies to offer competitive salaries, growth opportunities, and job satisfaction to retain talent.

He further highlighted the importance of attracting foreign clients and investors through innovative incentives, as well as adopting best practices from other EU jurisdictions. Additionally, he underscored the need for firms to embrace technology in order to meet the expectations of younger, tech-savvy clients and businesses.
